You are My Light

You light up my way,

When my life turns to gray

You make me strong

Whenever I go away.

Your presence and care

Makes me light up and glare

Though sometimes I fall

But you are there eventually.

There are times my path is dim

I can't see even in my dream

But because you are there,

You light me with your care.

There are times I feel so down,

When my world seems all gray and brown

You are there to guide me

And yes, you're there to inspire me.

This I want you to know

I am thankful in life because of you

For what I am now, and what I will be,

Thank you so much! for the LIGHT you gave me.
