EDITORIAL

    
       The linen carpet is laid down while the end is yet far. As MTC Academy - Albay moves on after its 4th Anniversary, much is unseen and are yet to come. For almost four years we survived the challenges which torment our existence as the medical transcription training provider in Albay.


          MTC Academy-Albay, as the first and largest TESDA certified medical transcription training institution, provides the most comprehensive training program, complete and state-of-the-art technology. Among the training institutions in the Bicol Region, we provide our students outstanding job placement assistance. Since the grand launching of MTCA, we made it clear that the trainings we offer at MTCA is indeed in-demand. We set the highest possible standard for our students, which is based on the MT companies' expectations from the MT applicants. This is to ensure that our students, after their graduation, will be confident in applying to prospect employers. Hence, these efforts cannot be equated as sure job placement assistance that we offer to students. We do our part the best that we can. Needless to say, we strive and cope to provide the best training we can give to our students. Ours is the responsibility to care for the motivational learning we can share to our MT students. The rest lies at their hands.

          Some of the corporate partners we have presented during the career orientations are mean to manifest our leverage and to prove the existence of medical transcription as an in-demand job. The core is to give the students an idea, if ever, after their graduation, will have some place to go. We are clear in the notion that the hiring procedures is subject to the discretion of the employers.

          The internet is a useful tool that can aid an MTC graduate in job hunting. Most of our research on the employment opportunities we presented  we presented during orientations and on-air talks are from the internet. More so, creativity and resourcefulness matters a lot in hunting for employment opportunities. 

          We care for our students the best we can while they are at MTCA. What lies beyond after the training are none of our control. So we challenge all the MTCAERs to do their best - strive and persevere so that we can have more competent and qualified MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONISTS.
